Just a quick note that if any of the wooden Penguins are around and would like to show off the class and participate in a low-key race in Annapolis, the National Sailing Hall of Fame is hosting their 7th Wooden Sailboat event on September 24 and 25. Saturday will be public displays and on Sunday is a Portsmouth Yardstick pursuit race around the harbor. Each year the dinghy class attracts boats such as Snipes, Comets, I-14s, Wayfarers, Chesapeake 20s and other, older boats. There are also classes for larger boats. It is usually quite fun!
