Hot. Air temperature was near 100. Fortunately the southwesterly breeze never faltered and we sailed 4 races in 5-10. Upwind felt refreshing, downwind, was hot. The committee was efficient in getting the races off and there was minimal interference from the other fleets – Beach cats, Lasers, Radials, Comets, Windmills, and Catboats.

Chicken dinner with the fixing’s afterwards while we enjoyed live music from a Bluegrass Band.

This is reported to be the last Annual Regatta at Conquest Beach, as the CRYC facility at Ship Point will be ready for next year’s event.
